The 15th National Games Experience (Secondary School) – Rugby Sevens

The 15th National Games, held from November 9 to 21, 2025, is jointly organized by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. As the nation’s highest-level and largest comprehensive sports event, it showcases elite athletic talent across the country. To promote sports culture, our school arranged for students to attend the games, experience the excitement of a major sporting event, cheer for the athletes, and learn more about national sports development.

The event concluded successfully last week. It was an unforgettable experience for our students, many of whom visited the Kai Tak Main Stadium for the first time. They enthusiastically watched the thrilling rugby sevens matches, cheering passionately for Team Hong Kong. The students witnessed Hong Kong’s team advance to the next round, and the Hong Kong men's team ultimately outmuscled Shandong 26:19 to claim the gold medal on home turf, sharing in the joy of their victory!

In addition, each participant received a special souvenir to commemorate this memorable day. The activity not only allowed students to feel the excitement of a top-tier sporting event up close but also fostered their sense of sportsmanship and support for Hong Kong’s athletes.
