Tung Wah Group of Hospitals S. C. Gaw Memorial College successfully held its 37th Annual Athletics Meet at the Tsing Yi Sports Ground on September 29 and 30, 2025. After the hoisting of Typhoon Signal No.10, we were truly grateful that the event proceeded as scheduled. Over the two days, the sunny weather lifted everyone's spirits — though the temperature was high, the enthusiasm of our participants soared even higher.

The Athletics Meet served as a dynamic platform for students to embody the core national education values of resilience, discipline, and the pursuit of excellence. Every athlete displayed remarkable determination and perseverance, giving their utmost effort in each event and exemplifying the essence of a steadfast spirit. Our dedicated teachers and student helpers worked tirelessly as event officials, ensuring the smooth organisation and success of every competition. Their commitment, along with the presence of many supportive parents cheering in the stands, created an inspiring and energetic atmosphere across the sports grounds.

The highlight of the two-day event was undoubtedly the thrilling 4×100m Class Relay, which captivated the crowd and showcased the power of teamwork and collective honor. Throughout the track and field competitions, athletes competed with true sportsmanship, striving not only for individual glory but also for the coveted Overall Championship titles, strengthening their bonds of unity and sense of belonging.

Thanks to the combined efforts of all participants, the event concluded seamlessly and successfully. We are delighted to announce that Faithfulness House claimed the Overall Inter-House Championship, while Frugality House earned the Inter-House Cheering Championship title this year.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to every student, teacher, parent, and student helper whose support and hard work made this memorable event possible. Through activities like the Athletics Meet, our school remains committed to promoting whole-person development and nurturing responsible, united citizens dedicated to the community.

東華三院吳祥川紀念中學第三十七屆陸運會已於九月二十九及三十日順利舉行。在經歷十號颶風信號後，本屆賽事能夠如期舉辦，實屬珍貴，全校師生倍感珍惜。賽事期間，天公造美，陽光普照，雖然氣溫較高，卻無損同學們的積極與熱情，反使現場氣氛更為熾熱。.

本屆陸運會不僅是一場體育競技，更是一個全方位學習的平台，讓學生身體力行展現堅毅、自律和追求卓越的精神。每位參賽運動員都全力以赴、堅持到底，充分體現了永不言棄的堅毅品格。老師和學生工作人員亦盡忠職守，擔任裁判及賽事協調等工作，確保比賽順利進行。他們無私的付出，加上眾多家長親臨現場為選手打氣，為賽場增添歡樂和正能量，共同營造出團結和諧的氛圍。.

兩天賽事中，最令人矚目的莫過於壓軸的「4×100米班際接力賽」，場面緊張刺激，同學們齊心協力，爭取榮譽，充分展現團隊合作精神和集體榮譽感。運動員們在各項田徑比賽中，以優秀的體育精神角逐個人及全場總冠軍，進一步加強彼此間的凝聚力與歸屬感。經過兩天緊湊、有序的比賽，本屆陸運會圓滿結束。最終，「信社」獲得社際全場總冠軍，而「儉社」榮膺社際啦啦隊全場冠軍。.
