Visit to Tencent Limited at TiT Campus in Guangzhou and the GAC Museum

Our students recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Tencent Technology Company Limited at their TiT Campus in Guangzhou, embarking on a two-day immersive experience

The first day was dedicated to understanding Tencent's digital ecosystem, with a particular focus on WeChat. In the morning, students received an insightful presentation on the recent developments and evolution of WeChat. This was followed by a hands-on session where Tencent staff guided students through the process of creating their own WeChat Mini Programs. This practical application allowed students to directly engage with the platform's development tools and understand the principles behind these versatile, lightweight applications.

The second day shifted gears, offering a fascinating look into the future of transportation at the GAC Museum. Here, our students not only had the chance to assemble a solar car, providing a tangible understanding of renewable energy in automotive design, but also experienced the thrill of riding in an autopilot car. This allowed them to witness firsthand the capabilities and potential of autonomous driving technology in a real-world setting.
