Study Tour for commemorating the 80th anniversary of victory in War of Resistance

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of victory in the War of Resistance, 35 Secondary 4 and Secondary 5 students from SCGaw participated in an enriching study tour on 9th July. This educational activity was organized by the Hong Kong Youth Patriotic Education Foundation (HKYPEF).

The tour began with a visit to the Hong Kong Sha Tau Kok Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall. Inside the exhibition hall, students delved into the history of the Fall of Hong Kong during World War II and learned about the courageous anti-Japanese guerrillas. Afterwards, a guided tour of the Sha Tau Kok Frontier Closed Area broadened their understanding of the region's unique history and culture. Students also thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area's picturesque natural scenery and various tourist attractions, making the day both educational and memorable.
