Themed Visit to the Global Headquarters of KLN Logistics Group

On 27 June 2025, 12 of our S5 BAFS students participated in a visit to Kerry Cargo Center, the global headquarters of KLN Logistics Group, to gain insights into the development, operations, and career pathways within the logistics industry. The visit was facilitated by the Transport and Logistics Bureau as part of the Curriculum on Logistics Industry for Primary and Secondary School Students. Staff members from KLN Logistics Group delivered a comprehensive presentation to our students, introducing the roles and responsibilities of the company that extend beyond mere product delivery.

After that, our students were provided a rare opportunity to explore the air cargo warehouse and one of the warehouses of a clothing company. The warehouse managers introduced our students to the operational processes and layout of these warehouses. This invaluable firsthand experience provided our students with a practical understanding of logistics industry developments and operational processes, linking the theoretical knowledge they have learned in operations management.

Moreover, the visit deepened our students’ understanding of the diverse career opportunities available within the logistics sector. This exposure not only broadened their knowledge of real-world occupations but also bolstered their confidence in navigating future career decisions.
