Creative Infographic Design Competition on Applications of Mathematics for Primary and Secondary Schools

In January, four students from our school took part in the Creative Infographic Design Competition focusing on the Applications of Mathematics. This event was organized by the Mathematics Education Section within the Curriculum Support Division of the Education Bureau.

The competition aims to inspire students to create infographics that creatively blend graphs, diagrams, texts, and mathematical expressions. This approach helps participants effectively illustrate the real-life applications of mathematics. Additionally, the competition encourages students to appreciate mathematics from various perspectives and enhances their creativity and communication skills.

In recognition of their efforts, Lo Yeuk Lam earned a Silver Award in the Junior category, while Wan Hi Sin received a Bronze Award in the Senior category. So Ying On and Wan Hing Sin were also awarded Honourable Mentions alongside their peers
