Beijing Sister School Visits

A five-day Beijing exchange trip was organized for Form 1 to 4 students who are School Chinese Dance Members from 30th March to 3rd April 2025. The objective of the trip was to visit our sister school, Beijing Fangshan High School, to share the learning experience as well as to get a better understanding of Chinese culture and National History.

During the school visit, our students were divided into different groups and had lessons together with Beijing Fangshan students. It enabled our students to gain archaeological excavation experience through the teacher’s lively and engaging teaching methods in the Chinese lesson. After the lesson, we were arranged to engage in healthy outdoor sports activities.

 Our students tasted different cuisines, including Peking Duck, Beijing Grilled Lamb Skewers, and Tanghulu, and were shown around Beijing city, visiting various renowned sightseeing spots such as the Palace Museum, Summer Palace, Great Wall, and so on. Students really enjoyed walking up the steep steps of the Great Wall and shopping in the famous alleys of Beijing. The trip gave our students an eye-opening experience and provided a good chance to build a strong bond with our sister school. During the journey, we interacted with teachers and students from the sister school and explored the development of Beijing.
