AI Talk organized by Melo Foundation

Melo Foundation慈善機構向本校學生提供人工智能講座

On 21 October 2026, TWGHs S. C. Gaw Memorial College had the great privilege of hosting an inspiring Artificial Intelligence talk organized by the Melo Foundation. Driven by their vision to equip students with future-ready skills, the event was a resounding success, with our entire student body in attendance. We were deeply honoured to invite Miss Gaw, a family member of our esteemed school donor, to personally deliver the keynote address. Drawing from the Melo Foundation's mission to connect business leaders with youth, Miss Gaw shared invaluable insights into how modern enterprises are actively leveraging AI technologies.

During the engaging session, students were given a rare glimpse into real-world commercial operations. They learned exactly how top-tier companies are utilizing AI tools not only to train their employees but also to streamline and enhance their daily workflows. By bringing these frontline business scenarios directly into our school hall, the talk effectively bridged the gap between classroom learning and the rapidly evolving corporate landscape.

To ensure our students can translate these industry insights into tangible skills, the Melo Foundation will also be providing a 6-hour hands-on workshop following the talk. This upcoming practical training will allow students to dive deeper into AI operations, empowering them to transition from tech consumers to tech creators. We look forward to seeing our students master these critical future skills!
