VISIT "THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY" SKETCHES AND WATERCOLORS EXHIBITION

參觀江啟明先生「大美中華」素描及水彩畫展

The renowned Hong Kong artist, Mr. Kong Kai-ming, is currently holding his “Throughout the Country” Sketches and Watercolors Exhibition at the City Hall. At 95 years old, Mr. Kong is a quintessential figure in Hong Kong’s realist art scene and belongs to the first generation of self-taught locally-born artists. Renowned for his meticulous depiction of rock textures, he is widely honored as the "Master of Rocks." On June 18th, students from our school visited the exhibition, gaining a rare opportunity to observe and appreciate Mr. Kong’s masterful realist techniques up close.

本校同學於六月十九日前往大會堂，參觀香港著名畫家江啟明先生的「大美中華」素描及水彩畫展。 現年95歲的江老師是香港首代土生土長的自學畫家，更是藝壇最具代表性的寫實大師之一。他的作品對岩石紋理刻畫細膩入微，故享有「石頭大師」之美譽。 透過這次活動，同學得以近距離領略大師深厚的寫實功力，獲益良多。
