HKICPA Accounting and Business Management Case Competition 2021-22

A total of 11 S.5 BAFS students formed three groups to participate in the HKICPA Accounting and Business Management Case Competition this year. Students were asked to prepare a proposal to analyze the business performance of a local cosmetic company and to give recommendations on strategies to sustain the company’s growth. Students were required to adopt the knowledge that they learned from BAFS lessons to the real world. For example, they had to make use of the accounting ratios to evaluate the company’s performance and give comments. Students were engaged in the activity. After the activity, students not only have had a deeper understanding of different business knowledge but also have enhanced their analytical thinking skills, creativity, and writing skills.

Five students from our school won the “Proficiency Team Award” because of their outstanding performance.
