2021-2022 Mathematics Enrichment Programme for Primary School Students

Our school collaborated with the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) to organize a mathematics enrichment course for gifted primary students. 13 students from different primary schools studied in this programme. They attended a total of three lessons in our school on Saturday mornings from 18th June to 9th July 2022. In the course, the students were introduced some advanced topics in algebra such as algebraic identities, rectangular coordinates and equation of straight lines. Mathematical principles were illustrated through some mathematical riddles, mathematics card tricks and tablet app. It is hoped that the students will have a deeper understanding of the applications and strengths of Mathematics and develop an inquiring mind in Mathematics. On 9th July, our Vice Principal Mr. Yuen presented the certificates of completion to the participants.
