S.5 My Way - Mock Interview Workshop

On 19 July 2022, all of our S5 students participated in a mock interview workshop. At the beginning of the workshop, students were taught some important skills for interviews and were asked to prepare a short speech to introduce them during the interview. Students were subsequently divided into ten groups and participated in different mock interview sessions according to their preferences in different fields of study. They were asked to introduce themselves, answer interviewers’ questions, and have a group discussion on different issues. Through the mock interview workshop, students can learn how to answer interviewers’ questions and get feedback from the interviewers about their weaknesses and strengths. The feedback from interviewers can help improve students’ future performance in actual interviews. Besides, interview strategies can also be developed. It was a precious experience for our S5 students to help them prepare for the interviews in the future.
