"What is Life?" Life-Planning Workshop 2023-24

「人生『職』係點?」職涯規劃工作坊2023-2024

On 22 May 2024, all of our S4 students took part in a career planning and financial management workshop called “What is Life? Life-Planning Workshop 2023-24”. The workshop was organized by the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority and the Healthy Budgeting Family Debt Counselling Centre of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. It aimed to provide students with insights into their future career planning and personal financial planning.

During the workshop, our students were divided into groups of 10 and assigned various tasks. These tasks included proofreading contracts, engaging in interior design, constructing a 1.5-meter tall structure using papers, and asking for sponsorships. Each activity represented a specific category of the Holland code, a widely used tool for identifying suitable jobs for individuals. Besides, the workshop covered topics such as salary or wage payments for different occupations, elements of personal financial planning, and financial needs at various life stages.

Through the workshop, our students gained invaluable knowledge about future career planning and personal financial management. This knowledge is crucial for their future.
