2023-24 Mathematics Enrichment Programme for Primary School Student

Our school collaborated with the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) to organize a mathematics enrichment course for primary students. 19 students from different primary schools were enrolled in this programme. They attended a total of three lessons in our school on three Saturday mornings from 8th June to 22nd June 2024. Through some math magic, card tricks, hands-on modelling and graphing calculator app, students have a preliminary understanding of the secondary school mathematics such as algebraic identities, equation of straight lines and summation of sequences. It is hoped that the students will develop an inquiring mind in mathematics when they are promoted to secondary schools.
In the last lesson, the students received their certificates of completion from our Vice Principal Mr Yuen.
