Movie watching is an effective way to help students learn English outside their classrooms. It not only allows students to improve their English but also helps them develop a critical and analytical mind to problem solving. Based on this ground, a movie appreciation activity was arranged for all S.2 and S.3 students on 5th July at the Broadway Cinema in Kwai Fong. Inside Out 2, a 2024 American animation produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures, was chosen for our students.

The film is the sequel to Inside Out (2015). Riley is now entering puberty and experiencing brand new, more complex emotions like Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui. As she tries to adapt to her teenage years, her old emotions (Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear and Disgust) also try to adapt to the possibility of being replaced. This funny and touching movie keeps our students engaged in every scene and they enjoyed the activity very much.
