PolyU Business School – Technology in Business Case Competition

On 6 and 7 July 2024, four of our S5 BAFS students visited the campus of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) to participate in a two-day workshop called “Technology in Business Case Competition”. The workshop was organized by the PolyU Business School with the aim of providing our students with a deeper understanding of the significance of business education in the digital age and offering them a hands-on experience in solving real-world business problems.

The workshop started with an introduction to the PolyU Business School, followed by a sharing session on the future of technology in business. Our students also engaged in hands-on sessions focusing on digital marketing, AI, and generative AI tools. Then, they were tasked with helping a Hong Kong company in developing an expansion plan. Our students worked collaboratively to prepare a solution presentation for the given case.

Through their participation in the workshop and competition, our students have acquired valuable knowledge about new technologies and their relevance to the business world, which is crucial in the digital age. Besides, they have gained insights into the programs offered by the PolyU Business School, which can greatly contribute to their future academic planning.
