Exchange tour to Shanghai

百萬青年看祖國滬港同心青少年考察交流計劃

在七月上旬，我校學生參加了「滬港同心百萬青年看祖國」計劃，乘坐動臥高鐵到上海，體驗了「夕發朝至」的高鐵之旅。在上海，同學到訪了豫園、外灘等上海名勝，亦有機會參觀美團總部、國歌展示館等地了解更多祖國的發展。六日五夜的行程裏，同學與不同香港學校的同學同遊上海，並到上海市市東中學拜訪，增進了中港兩地的文化交流，亦加深了同學對祖國的認識

40 S4 SCGaw students participated in an exchange tour (百萬青年看祖國滬港同心青少年考察交流計劃) which was organised by Federation of Hong Kong-Shanghai Associations (滬港社團總會). With exhilaration, they set off for Shanghai Hongqiao Station from Hong Kong West Kowloon station by high-speed sleeper train on 6th July. Their understanding of Chinese culture and China’s technological development was enhanced through their visits to various places such as Shanghai Shidong Middle School (上海市市東中學), WorldSkills Museum (世界技能博物館), National Anthem Gallery (國歌展示館) and some large enterprises including Meituan (美團).

The exchange tour was productive and inspiring. Students’ knowledge on their country’s multifaceted development is further boosted and their national identities are reinforced.
