Jockey Club Cocoon Student Training in Entrepreneurship Programme – Step 2

On 8 December 2022, all our S.4 students participated in the “Ideation Lab” workshop, which is the second step of the student training in entrepreneurship program organized by the Cocoon Foundation. The activity aims to increase students’ creative confidence through design thinking and to introduce students the basics of pitching. Students were asked to participate in some hands-on activities, for example, making use of straws to build a structure to support a notebook. The processes of developing a start-up business were divided into different small and understandable activities. Those small activities allowed students to try to create some new ideas, helped students understand the processes of starting a business and problems that may be encountered when they start a business. The activity has inspired our students that starting a business is not difficult as long as they are willing to make an attempt and take the first step.
