Blood Donation at Tsuen Wan Donor Centre

Recently, the blood inventory has dropped to a low level. In response to the appeal by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, twenty SCGaw S5 students volunteered for blood donation. On 16/6 and 20/6, they went to the Tsuen Wan Donor Centre in Nina Hotel for giving blood. Many of them were first-time donors and they were happy to realize that a single blood donation can save up to three individual lives. Through this activity, it is hoped that a culture of giving and helping to save lives can be promoted.
